Brian Berkowitz, known professionally as Johnny Iguana, is an American Chicago blues pianist, singer and songwriter. He has recorded albums with Junior Wells, Carey Bell, Koko Taylor, Lil' Ed Williams, Eddie Shaw, Matthew Skoller, Lurrie Bell, Carey Bell, Oh My God, and the Claudettes among many others.

Nothing 'iconic' about a record label !
I am Brian Berkowitz aka Johnny Iguana. I deleted the part that pretty much says I only achieved so much because there wasn't much competition. That's a rather grim way of beginning my biography. That line came from a somewhat self-effacing comment within a large article and is quite far out of context here. I had been referring to my early opportunities and waxing humble bout my beginnings. But I've since earned a lot, the hard way!
